We are a rafting company, based in Murchison. We offer a wide range of river trips, from single day family rafting to multi day wilderness expeditions. UDNZ & Makingtrax have been working together for several years and have developed systems to make rafting available to all abilities.

Inclusive Information:

Making this possible we have our river harness, fully releasable system, making you sit up on the raft (even without trunk control), leg floats if you feel like floating through the pools, dry suits for those that do not have climate control (only hands & head are exposed). Waka Abel Tasman

Skyline Gondola & Luge

Company Information:

Skyline Queenstown offers a tranquil gondola ride & thrilling luge tracks. With unsurpassed scenic views, Skyline also offers cultural experiences, amazing dining, stargazing & more.

Inclusive Information:

Accessibility up the gondola is possible if you can transfer independently or with help from your carer, your wheelchair fits in the gondola (colapsable & light). Under certain conditions it is possible to get a power-chair up if weighs less than 60kg. If you can board the gondola, you can also enjoy the luge, providing you have use of upper body and can sit up unassisted. There are restrictions due to client weight and ability, therefore we book you in on an individual basis.

Shotover Canyon Swing & Canyon Fox

We are the crazy (but friendly) people in New Zealand who encourage you to jump off a cliff and swing into a canyon just for fun! At the home of the world's highest cliff jumps, our already famous 109m high Canyon Swing and our not yet famous 182m high Canyon Fox are just the ticket to get your heart pumping and put smiles on your faces!

From the carpark there is a gravel path approx 400 meters that you may need assistance if in a wheelchair. At the Swing headquarters a number of steps to access your swing. No need to worry yourself as the Canyon Crew are there to make it easy and awesome.

We are a small family owned ecotourism business in the Abel Tasman. Your skipper 'Opens your eyes' to the ecosystem around you. Expect to see all manner of marine life, visit islands, inlets and forests as well as the open sea. Birds, seals, penguins and dolphins are all possibilities. Hear about the important work we are doing to help protect this beautiful place.

Inclusive Information:

Although there is no ramp access, if you don't mind being helped aboard, the crew will make it work. Making space for your wheelchair to ride in comfort a seat is taken out, so please book in advance. Only Manual wheelchair and weight restrictions apply. Shotover Jet

The worlds most exciting jet boat ride through the spectacular and famous Shotover canyon

With an river side ramp to access the boat, the ultimate crew will assist you to your seat. Huka Falls Jet

TrailRider All-Terrain Wheelchair

Company Information:

Rotorua Lakes Council and Halberg Trust partnered to provide the ultimate wheelchair the Trail Rider here in Rotorua. Others are available in Mount Maunganui and Dunedin. A modified wheelchair that with two 'Sherpas' can go pretty much anywhere. Best described as a mix between a wheelbarrow and a rickshaw. With an e-motor and power breaks it's ready for any terrain. Explore the Redwoods or organise to take it on your own mission. Fold-able for transportation and light enough to pick up to put in your vehicle

Inclusive Information:

The Trail-Rider is well designed for someone who has fairly good upper body control. It comes with separate padded cushions: a headrest, a backrest and a seat cushion. The cushions are smooth and are attached to the steel frame with strong velcro. If you have limited upper body function its recommended you provide your own chest strap. Motor-cross kidney belt works perfectly, recommend larger to go around back-rest.
The safety restraints consist of two wide straps that click into place around the chest area and the lap.
