Glacier Travel
Combine the thrill of 2 helicopter transfers, with the opportunity to explore a remote and pristine part of the glacier, with your knowledgeable guides. Glacial forces are greatest in this area and often create spectacular ice caves, arches and tunnels, brilliantly blue in colour. No experience is required. All you need to enjoy your time on the glacier is warm clothing, sun protection, snacks to keep you energised, and a sense for adventure! We’ll provide you with the necessary outerwear, adaptive equipment, and technical equipment. Our highly experienced guides will get you up close to impressive ice formations and safely lead you across the glacier. This ultimate adventure is a private trip with multipule guides to assist, a 4 hour experience with 3 hours on the ice. Requirements
This is a private trip with minimum of 2 persons, including 1 person with reduced mobility. The experience is dependent on weather and amount of extra snow on the glacier due to moving around with the glacier buggy. All trips are managed through Makingtrax.
