Bike Hire

MakingTrax Bowhead Rogue e-assist mountain bikes are available for daily hire and are fully integrated into local cycle hire and tour businesses—making it easy for people to ride together.

In Nelson, one bike is managed by Cycle Nelson, with direct access to the Great Taste Trail and surrounding networks. The other is based in Arrowtown, operated by the Better By Bike team, right in the heart of the Queenstown Trail network.

Requirements
The e-assist provides strong support, but riders need sufficient hand and arm strength to steer, brake, and change gears safely.
