Scenic Flight with Snow Landing
Explore one of our stunning West Coast glaciers or head to the top of the largest glacier in Aotearoa New Zealand. Gaze over staggering ice formations and rugged South Island terrain, taking in views of snowy glacial plains. Your pilot will choose the best location for your stunning snow landing on the day of your flight. We work in partnership with two locations, Mount Cook Airport based Inflite and Franz Josef Township based The Helicopter Line or Glacier Helicopters. These two locations offer different experiences both spectacular. Mt Cook base has a skiplane & helicopter experience and the Franz Josef base the helicopter and a ski-chair to slide around on the snow. Queenstown scenic helicopter flights can be organised, these are personalised tours through the Helicopter Line. All trips are managed through Makingtrax.
Requirements
Trips are very easy, although transfering into the helicopter can be challenging at times. All our operators will assist as much as possible, and each trip will be personalised prior to to make sure everything works for everybody.
Price indicated is subject to change, is the Franz Josef Neve Discovery with ski-chair. There are a number of options at both locations.
